Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business or related field and 8+ years’ experience in plant management.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ leadership experience including team development and management.
• Manufacturing knowledge and understanding of yields, plant efficiencies, and operations procedures.
• Solid understanding of OSHA, USDA and Food Safety regulations.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft software (Excel and Word).
• Ability to work with, and lead, a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage a large site consistent with policies and the company P&L.
• Train, coach, and develop supervisors and management.
• Track yields, labor, expenses, and implement cost-saving solutions.
• Ensure operation adheres to specifications, procedures, and safety standards.
• Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and hr/safety coordination.
• In absence of the General Manager, complete key tasks and delegate as needed.
