Job summary

Inteplast Group seeks a Plant Manager to support the General Manager in leading all plant operations, including personnel, safety, quality, production efficiency, materials, and cost management. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Engineering or technical emphasis desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership capacity.
• Experience in plastics blown film and converting operation.
• Understanding of structural foam or high-pressure molding.
• Scheduling products and personnel in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong planning and coordination across purchasing, maintenance, engineering, sales, quality, operations and suppliers.
• Ability to monitor and ensure achievement of business unit goals and take corrective action if costs or schedules deviate.
• Knowledge of management techniques, engineering, purchasing methods and general business principles.
• Experience in a 24/7 environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong PC skills with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule workflow to meet customer orders, train personnel, and utilize equipment efficiently.
• Collaborate with scheduling to assure near 100% customer fill rate; plan raw materials and equipment in advance.
• Analyze operations financially to prepare monthly management reports and forecast outlook.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required by business needs.
• Support product capacity, maintenance, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement projects with engineering for safety, quality, and productivity gains.
• Propose and manage capital projects to enhance operations.
• Manage production scheduling and material flow to maximize machine use and minimize waste.
• Report resin usage, scrap, costs, and efficiencies to improve yield.
• Develop routine reports for General Manager and align with Inteplast Group policies.
