Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the MMA plant’s operations and logistics, ensuring safe, reliable, and on-time delivery of the production plan in line with the manufacturing strategy.

The role requires a strong background in chemical manufacturing, extensive leadership experience, and a proven track record in Lean and continuous improvement, with a salary range of $160,000–$170,000 in this location, subject to geographic adjustment.

Qualifications

• Ten years of manufacturing experience and a bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of industrial engineering, personnel and labor relations, accounting, maintenance and safety regulations.
• Ability to plan, organize, and control operation of a multi-unit high-hazard chemical facility under OSHA PSM and EPA RMP.

Responsibilities

• Manage MMA Plant operations and logistics to meet S&OP and budget.
• Lead site operations with Training systems and safe work practices.
• Drive Manufacturing Excellence programs to achieve site goals.
• Ensure high safety culture and competent operations team.
• Maintain positive community image and engagement.
