Job summary

Silgan Plastics Corporation is seeking a Plant Manager for our Kentucky manufacturing facility. This leadership role is accountable for the plant's safe, efficient operation and performance, aligning tactical and strategic plans with corporate goals.

You will direct staff, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams, delivering regular updates to upper management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in technical or business discipline.
• Minimum 5 years plant management experience.
• Experience managing diverse staff in a medium to large plastics operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to plant staff to ensure cohesive operation.
• Meet or exceed safety, quality and efficiency goals.
• Meet or exceed budget requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and SOX requirements.
• Maintain relationships with key customers for satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with upper management on key issues.
• Review key operating indices and respond to variations.
• Provide bi-weekly business updates to upper management.
• Prepare month-end business reports for leadership.
• Develop annual plant budget.
