Chemtrade East St. Louis is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day plant operations and supervise operations personnel. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency in production and material usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Other relevant experience will be considered
• Demonstrated hands-on leadership and management capabilities.
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and direct production and supervise operations staff.
• Ensure unit remains within regulatory permits and safe operating parameters.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on process knowledge and safety.
• Track production and material consumption; review data daily for optimization.
• Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Support ES&H programs and participate in safety meetings and audits.
