Job summary

Electrochem is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee all Chemical Plant activities across shifts, driving safe, efficient production and the PMR2 program. You will mentor Supervisors, develop training, and implement Saft Excellence tools to reduce waste and variability.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in chemical process environments, and a firm commitment to safety, Lean principles, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical field. Alternatively, have significant work experience in a chemcial process, including formal leadership training

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to all Chemical Plant employees on all shifts and promote autonomous teams.
• Monitor hourly production and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Lead the PMR2 team and oversee scheduling, discipline and payroll records as needed.
• Sustain safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
