Job summary

Trinseo is seeking a hands-on Operations / Production Leader (Chemical) to drive the 24x7 Louisville site, translating strategy into execution across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will lead diverse teams, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Quality, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain and HR to deliver reliable operations in a PSM environment. This is a senior role demanding strong leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of manufacturing experience in specialty chemical or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience leading multiple teams with budget ownership.
• Union experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop leaders, manage complexity, and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Own site performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Lead and develop teams across the Louisville facility.
• Manage budgets, capital planning, and cost performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and operational integrity.
• Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, and HR.
• Drive continuous improvement and safety culture across the plant.
• Maximize on-stream time and capacity with maintenance teams.
• Lead root cause analysis to resolve process deviations.
