Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a strong site leader for a chemical distribution plant in Omaha, NE. The role requires hands-on leadership on the floor, working closely with operations and hourly personnel to push for high safety standards and peak performance.

This position has overall responsibility for the site and reports to a regional manager, with minimal travel. Minimum requirements include prior management experience in chemicals, knowledge of DOT/TCEQ regulations, and PSM experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership background is important - should have previous management experience.
• Must be out of chemicals, ideally chemical distribution or something along those lines.
• Previous PSM experience is a huge plus.
• Must understand DOT/TCEQ regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the site and safety program.
• Lead floor operations and work with hourly personnel to drive performance.
• Collaborate with the regional manager and operations to meet targets.
