Job summary

GardenCore in Ohio is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to lead staff and oversee all aspects of a fast-paced lawn and garden products facility, from raw materials intake to processing and packaging.

You will monitor key metrics, safety, production flow, and material costs, with accountability for bottom-line results. 2+ years manufacturing management, strong analytical and communication skills, and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years manufacturing management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2/4 year degree or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional leadership to staff, assessing performance, and directing operational activities to ensure safety, quality and consistency.
• Ensuring workplace safety through adherence to company standards and safety programs.
• Implementing process improvements to maintain non-stop production in a safe, profitable manner.
• Negotiating raw material costs and scheduling deliveries to meet production plans.
• Maintaining inventory control, labor, and cost management.
