Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the daily production operations of the Newark plant, ensuring safe, efficient performance aligned with company goals. You will lead a team, manage operational policies, monitor compliance with regulations, maintain cleanliness and safety, and collaborate with the Plant Manager on priorities and continuous improvement.

This role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3+ years in plant operations or related environment.
• Proven ability to supervise/manage others in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations as directed by Plant Manager.
• Monitor operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead and direct the work of others.
• Manage and direct the operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness of plant at all times and at end of shift.
• Maintain safety as top priority in accordance with company safety rules.
• All other duties as assigned.
