Job summary

Markent Personnel's client in Anderson, South Carolina seeks an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations across Production, Maintenance, Tooling, and Engineering. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality and safety.

The role demands 5+ years in operations leadership within blow-molding/injection-molding or automotive manufacturing, plus strong budgeting and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, business administration, or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, preferably in blow-molding, injection-molding, plastics, or automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing industry highly desirable.
• Proven experience leading Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Scheduling, and Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and cost-control abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Production Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, Technical Resources, and Continuous Improvement.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other CI initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead capital projects and oversee equipment, tooling, and system deployment.
• Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to optimize operations.
