Job summary

DYWIDAG in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Plant Supervisor to direct fabrication and warehouse activities, ensuring safe operations, high-quality output, and strict cost and labor control.

You will train and supervise shop personnel, lead safety meetings, monitor KPIs, and manage orders from bar and strand fabrication through extrusion, shipping, and receiving. Read drawings, communicate with operations management, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent degree with at least 5 years of operations experience.
• Experience in plant operations, scheduling, quality assurance and personnel.
• Familiar with metals manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures.
• Familiar with warehouse storage and organization.
• Experience with order pulling, verifying and staging.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe working environment by leading safety meetings and observations.
• Resolves issues between manufacturing employees.
• Trains and oversees shop personnel.
• Manages KPIs and explains variances.
• Executes fabrication orders to deliver on time and within budget.
• Oversees Strand extrusion line goals.
• Oversees shipping and receiving.
