Job summary

Mulzer Crushed Stone Inc. in Owensboro, KY, is seeking an experienced Concrete Plant Manager to lead safety, production, and operations for our ready-mix facility.

You will partner with the General Manager to execute growth strategies, manage budgets, and drive performance across teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction or plant management, 3+ years in direct plant leadership, and strong accounting, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working culture for all employees; work with safety and field personnel to minimize risk and increase safety for employees at all times.
• Responsible for daily operations including safe production, quality, customer focus and maintaining the integrity of the safety and environmental systems within the plant.
• Drive operational performance and improvements to meet or exceed company goals.
• Provide leadership and direction to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Build effective teams and develop (direct reports) for future opportunities.
• Ensure that all crews have the tools and training to operate safely and that all federal, state and local laws concerning safety, environment and other applicable areas are adhered to.
