Job summary

You will recruit, coach, and supervise a team of 15+ merchandisers and lead efforts to execute approved merchandising plans, store layouts, and Plant-O-Grams, ensuring an optimal shopping experience and strong sell-through. This role partners with store managers and district leaders, analyzes reports to manage budgets and labor,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management/leadership experience.
• 3–5 years of merchandising experience.
• Prior nursery/bedding plants experience preferable.
• Smartphone required to clock in/out of the timekeeping system.
• Must have reliable transportation and a current driver’s license with auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and team-build a professional merchandiser staff.
• Collaborate with store staff and district managers to execute merchandising plans.
• Interact with customers and vendors professionally.
• Execute approved merchandising plans, layouts and Plant-O-Grams.
• Use reports to manage budgets, labor, and sell-through.
• Communicate stock and quality issues to HD/WM account managers.
