Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC is seeking a Plant Mechatronics Maintenance Technologist to own preventive and diagnostic maintenance for production machinery and facility equipment, maximizing uptime and safety.

You will install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; diagnose issues; program robots and PLCs; support automation improvements; participate in TPM and upgrades. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or technical schooling beneficial.
• Proficiency with hand tools, meters, PPE, and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of preventive and diagnostic maintenance for production machinery and facility equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose issues quickly using manuals and blueprints; program and troubleshoot robots and PLCs.
• Support automation improvements and participate in TPM activities.
• Assist with new equipment installations and upgrades; adhere to safety standards.

How You’ll Win the Night

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains
• Diagnose issues fast; interpret manuals and blueprints to execute precise fixes
• Program and troubleshoot robots, controls, and PLCs; support automation improvements

• Operate hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment confidently

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Experience in industrial maintenance, a technical field, or technical schooling
• Proven electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; automation exposure preferred
• Preventive maintenance know-how and disciplined execution
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and PPE
• Metalworking skills: cutting, welding, drilling, tapping
• Working knowledge of PLCs and relay logic; hydraulics/pneumatics; electrical distribution and LOTO
• Air compressor maintenance experience is a plus
• Physical ability to stand/walk; bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb; lift/move 50 lbs
