Job summary

Veolia is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to safeguard reliable plant operations. You will perform diagnostic and repair work on pumps, valves, turbines, boilers, conveyors, and piping, support outage activities, and participate in preventive maintenance programs.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, proficiency with welding and pipe fitting, the ability to read mechanical drawings, and the physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in welding and pipe fitting essential.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience with maintenance shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform equipment alignment and basic machine work.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and repair work on plant equipment (pumps, valves, turbines, boilers, conveyors, piping).
• Coordinate outage activities for maintenance and upgrade work.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and lubrication schedules.
• Assist in testing and adjusting mechanical systems after repairs.
• Maintain tools and work area in a safe, organized condition.
• Be on call for emergency repairs and rotations.
