Steel Dynamics is seeking a hands-on Engineer to develop capital projects at our Texas facilities. You will collaborate with multiple departments to set budgets, create timelines, and prepare bid packages while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.

The role requires a 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree, a proven safety record, and 4+ years of industrial maintenance with at least 2 years in supervision. Strong problem solving, leadership, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven safety record with high safety awareness.
• Industrial mechanical maintenance experience – minimum 4 years.
• Supervisor experience – minimum 2 years.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, well organized.
