ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Plant Manager in Carrollton, KY to lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, and logistics. You will drive safety standards, manage budgets, and coordinate with sales and corporate teams to ensure on-time deliveries and high-quality products.

The role requires a strong track record in manufacturing leadership, P&L oversight, and supplier negotiations, with a focus on continuous improvement and community relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field strongly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing leadership with P&L, safety, quality, and inventory management.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams in a fast-moving environment.

Responsabilités

• Establish plant short and long-range strategic operating objectives and oversee production, field, warehouse, shipping/receiving, maintenance and office management.
• Direct, manage and develop supervisory personnel to ensure efficient and safe operation of the plant.
• Establish, communicate, implement and enforce safety programs and procedures.
• Establish and monitor plant operating budget; analyze profit and loss statements; identify profitability improvements.
• Identify sources of raw material, negotiate supplier contracts, ensure quality of purchased supplies.
• Set plant compensation levels to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Foster and maintain high level of customer service through on-time deliveries and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with other plant managers, sales and corporate teams for efficient operations.
