Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, seeks a Plant Manager for its Franklin, NC manufacturing site. You will lead a production team, oversee budgets, safety, and material costs, and drive bottom‑line results.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred) or 10+ years related experience, strong planning and leadership abilities, and solid communication skills. Onsite position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of at least ten years of progressive related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
• Experience in planning, negotiating and organizational skills.
• Prior P&L experience.
• Strong leadership skills while maintaining a team atmosphere.
• Solid computer skills and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities and supervise the production process.
• Oversee maintenance of all equipment and manage downtime with a preventative maintenance program.
• Control inventory, counts and audits.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping and environmental compliance.
• Estimate production costs, maintain high quality standards and ensure good customer service.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
• Maximize the use of transportation/logistics.
• Collaborate with suppliers, sales, and customers to execute company policies and goals.
• Ensure the business meets expected financial returns.
• Comply with local and federal environmental regulations.
