Job summary

Ranew's Companies in Olathe, KS is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee all performance aspects of the facility and supervise employees in a manufacturing/industrial paint environment.

This role plans and assigns work, implements policies, and drives improvements in production methods, equipment, and safety. It also coordinates employee relations, inventory control, and regular reporting to management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory and/or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient in Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Ability to use multiple computer systems and programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Give input into employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
• Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to management.
• Manage Manufacturing Orders.
• Perform accident investigations.
• Maintain proper inventory levels.
• Manage department priorities.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work proactively to improve processes and prevent issues that may impact company performance.
