Job summary

Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations at our Olathe facility. The role requires leadership of manufacturing staff, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met across the plant.

Responsibilities include coaching, production planning, inventory control, and implementing process improvements while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory and/or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop employees; contribute to hiring decisions; resolve issues via problem solving.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
• Continuously identify and implement opportunities for improvement across all areas of the facility.
• Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to management.
• Manage Manufacturing Orders.
• Perform accident investigations.
• Maintain proper inventory levels.
• Manage department priorities.
• Work proactively to improve processes and prevent issues that may impact company performance.
