Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Plant Manager in the Middlefield area to lead a two-shift machining/fabrication operation. The role carries responsibility for scheduling, process improvement, KPI tracking, safety, and production staffing.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of manufacturing management experience, a bachelor's in engineering or related field, and strong Lean manufacturing and leadership capabilities. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

7+ years of manufacturing management in a machining/fabrication environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred; Associates Degree would be considered.
Experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong leadership abilities.
Excellent communicative and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee all manufacturing operations including scheduling and planning
Develop and maintain processes that will improve efficiencies and reduce waste
Setting Key Performance Indicators and track progress
Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance; maintain proper documentation and permitting
Oversee supply chain and logistics operations
Actively involved in the budgeting and forecasting processes
Lead and continue to develop a high performing production staff
