Able Medical is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our Medical Device Contract Manufacturing operations in Michigan. You will set the vision, strategy, and controls to grow the organization and drive operating efficiency.

A key deliverable is to recruit, train, and develop staff to build a strong workforce and achieve plant goals. You will promote safety, drive lean initiatives, and establish quality metrics to sustain world-class performance.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe environment throughout the facility.
• Oversee production scheduling, procurement, CNC machining, and logistics teams.
• Achieve production targets while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Drive first-time-right operations and continuous improvement.
• Build a culture of quality using metrics to improve manufacturing performance.
• Plan and direct facility operations aligned with Able's strategic initiatives.
• Direct execution of operational metrics and performance goals for each department.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives (value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen).
• Collaborate with Engineering to enable continual process improvements.
• Develop staff through recruitment, training, and career growth initiatives.
• Set and manage workloads and responsibilities to optimize workflow.
