Movement Search and Delivery is seeking a Plant Manager for a confidential client serving automotive, aerospace, and defense markets. Based around Traverse City, MI, this direct-hire role partners with leadership to translate strategy into action and drive site results.

The Sr.-level position leads a multi-disciplinary plant team, drives forecasts, budgets, safety and quality, and shapes a 1–3 year manufacturing plan for the site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Plant Manager or Operations Manager.
• Previous P&L responsibility.
• Experience with Toyota Production System and other Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation and performance of entire plant.
• Lead multi-disciplined plant team in meeting forecasts and metrics.
• Develop strategic manufacturing direction for 1–3 year horizon.
