Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Plant Manager for its Wheatland Tube division, located in Warren, OH. You will lead overall plant operations to meet financial objectives, drive safety, productivity, quality, and cost initiatives, and collaborate with HR, Safety, Finance, Sales, and Maintenance.

The role calls for strong operational leadership, strategic planning, and people development to directly impact manufacturing performance and business growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leads and promotes safe work practices in compliance with regulations and safety policies.
• Develops and executes operating plans for current and upcoming months, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Builds a performance-based culture focused on accountability, safety, metrics and operational excellence.
• Provides clear direction and communication aligned with corporate goals across all plant departments.
• Reviews daily operating reports to resolve issues while minimizing costs and delays.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Formulates and implements production policies impacting scheduling, quality, cost and efficiency.
• Leads new manufacturing initiatives by applying lean principles and improving processes.
• Hires, coaches, develops, and evaluates employees to ensure leadership and morale.
