Job summary

Aerostar Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Lean Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in an automotive/Tier 1 environment, driving operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.

As a servant leader, you will develop and coach leaders, eliminate waste, optimize processes, and ensure adherence to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements while partnering across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience in automotive or Tier 1/2 environments.
• 5+ years of plant/operations leadership experience.
• Proven success implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
• Strong servant leadership, coaching, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations with focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Morale (SQDCPM).
• Apply Toyota Production System (TPS) and Daily Management System (DMS).
• Develop and coach leaders while fostering employee engagement and accountability.
• Improve performance through waste elimination, process optimization, and CI.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, AS9100, OSHA, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.

• Strong servant leadership, coaching, and change management skills.

Preferred

• MBA or Master's Degree.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
• Experience with the Toyota Production System (TPS).
