Job summary

Zekelman Industries seeks a Plant Manager for Wheatland Tube, located in Warren, OH. Lead plant operations to hit financial goals while driving safety, lean manufacturing, productivity, quality and cost improvements. Collaborate with HR, Safety, Finance, Sales, and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing and improved yields.

This full-time, onsite role requires strong leadership, strategic planning and people development to drive business growth and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a technical field.
• Strong labor relations experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Results-driven, entrepreneurial leadership with urgency.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Leads and promotes safe work practices in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Develops and executes operating plans for current and upcoming months.
• Builds a performance-based culture focused on accountability and metrics.
• Provides clear direction across plant departments aligned with goals.
• Reviews daily operating reports to resolve issues and minimize delays.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support improvement initiatives.
• Formulates production policies impacting scheduling, cost, and quality.

• Hires, coaches, and develops employees to maintain leadership and morale.
• Delegates work while ensuring safety and quality compliance.
