Job summary

Stella-Jones Goshen plant in Virginia seeks a seasoned Plant Manager to lead daily operations, ensure safety, and meet production, quality, and cost targets.

You will oversee environmental compliance, manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets, hire staff, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize productivity. A strong background in lean manufacturing and ERP systems like SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Five or more years of plant leadership experience (ideally Plant Manager/Production Manager).
• Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement methods experience.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance: drive safety culture and training.
• Production Operations & Performance: manage daily plant operations to meet schedules and quality.
• Financial Management & Business Planning: develop budgets and control costs.
• Leadership, Staffing & Workforce Development: supervise staff and manage performance.
• Continuous Improvement & Industry Engagement: pursue operational improvements and external learning.
• Coordinate with internal functions and suppliers to optimize resources.
• Oversee maintenance programs to minimize interruptions.
