Job summary

Stella-Jones Corporation is seeking a Plant Manager in Goshen, Virginia to oversee daily operations, safety, and compliance while driving cost-effective production to meet schedules and quality standards.

The role requires extensive manufacturing leadership experience, a focus on continuous improvement, and strong budgeting and staffing capabilities in a wood-products environment. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Five or more years of manufacturing plant leadership experience.
• Seven or more years of leadership preferred.
• Experience in wood products manufacturing or similar industrial environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement methods.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive safe plant operations and maintain cost-efficient production to meet schedules.
• Lead budgeting, staffing, and capital projects for OPEX and CAPEX.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage production, quality, and delivery performance and data analysis.
• Supervise personnel, provide coaching, and support hiring.
• Identify and implement productivity improvements and system enhancements.
