Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Plant Manager for our Napoleon, OH facility to lead the production process and drive collaboration across operations, sales, engineering, accounting and transportation. This role focuses on safety, production efficiency, cost control and customer service.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial leadership, a Bachelor's in a related field, and experience with precast/concrete or building materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in a leadership role in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with precast/concrete or building materials is a plus.
• Proven track record of developing and leading continuous improvement.
• Ability to work on your feet in a production/plant environment.
• Proficiency with computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AX).
• Ability to lead and direct other individuals and group leaders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental practices are followed on site.
• Lead production scheduling to meet customer needs and on-time delivery.
• Promote strong customer service and proactive communication across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure correct drawings/designs are used.
• Purchase materials/services to operate the facility effectively.
• Hire, supervise, train, and retain operations staff.
• Maintain a clean, tour-ready workplace at all times.
• Read drawings, plan production tasks from drawings, coach staff.
• Operate or supervise use of plant tools when needed.
• Lead and coach leadership, run morning huddles, mid-day meetings, and inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
