Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Plant Manager to direct day-to-day and strategic activities of a large Indiana plant, with accountability for safety, production, maintenance, quality, and finance.

You will lead a team, implement Six Sigma, manage costs, ensure regulatory compliance (ISO 9000/2000, FDA), and drive continuous improvement while fostering a high-performance, safety-focused culture. The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Engineering, or Packaging preferred.
• 10+ years related experience or the equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Strong presentation and numerical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day and strategic plant operations to meet financial and operating objectives.
• Implement Six Sigma and manage production to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements.
• Control operating expenses and justify capital expenditures.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (ISO 9000/2000, FDA).
• Develop and manage a business plan with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage talent, development, and employee engagement.
