Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day and strategic activities of a large plant, directing maintenance, repairs, and improvements to achieve cost-effective operations. You will manage safety programs, drive continuous improvement, and oversee a team of maintenance professionals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with strong leadership and communication skills and a willingness to travel 10-15%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports and correspondence.
• Mathematical skills including probability and statistics; problem solving and data-driven decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for shift and management teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day and strategic activities of a large plant maintenance department.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and improvements of all equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Ensure safety, health compliance, and environmental standards are met; train and develop staff.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize resource utilization.
• Manage contracts and coordination with external vendors; ensure cost efficiency.
• Travel 10-15% of the time.
