Job summary

Woodweb seeks a hands-on Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and serve as the planned successor to the Operations Manager role as retirement approaches in approximately 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plant operations, including production, receiving, distribution, material handling, maintenance coordination, safety, quality, and workflow execution.
• Translate company goals into clear plant-level and departmental goals, communicate them effectively across all levels of the operations team, and incorporate accountability into each step of the process.
• Direct and improve material flow so assembly components, supplies, and finished goods move through receiving, staging, production, packaging, and distribution in the correct quantity and quality at the right time.
