Job summary

Imprimus Labels & Packaging in Brea, California seeks a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.

You will develop supervisors and staff, drive continuous improvement, manage scheduling and costs, and partner with service teams to meet customer requirements. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong operational discipline.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in label printing, flexible packaging, or converting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with printing operations (flexographic or digital) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of KPIs, scheduling, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to lead supervisors and hourly production teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for daily plant operations and safety compliance.
• Manage production to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost goals.
• Develop supervisors, operators, and support staff; set clear performance expectations.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, equipment use, and capacity planning.
• Drive continuous improvement and address operational issues on the floor.
• Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Quality, Maintenance, HR and leadership.
• Ensure delivery commitments and customer requirements are met.
