Job summary

Imprimus Labels & Packaging seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Brea, California. This hands‑on leadership role oversees production, safety, quality, staffing, scheduling, and continuous improvement to ensure excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline with people leadership, aiming to improve plant performance, develop employees, and maintain a culture focused on safety and quality in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading a production facility or large manufacturing operation.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for daily plant operations.
• Manage production to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Develop and coach production supervisors and hourly teams.
• Set clear performance expectations and accountability.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, equipment utilization, and capacity planning.
• Monitor KPIs: productivity, waste, downtime, labor efficiency, on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase throughput.
• Maintain presence on the production floor and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and leadership.
• Ensure customer requirements and delivery commitments are met.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and employee development.
• Support profitability while safeguarding safety and quality.
