Job summary

Imprimus Labels & Packaging is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a strategic customer in the Santa Clarita, CA area. This role manages projects from initial request through production and delivery, coordinating with customer, vendor, and internal teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in label printing or packaging, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management or related customer-facing role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in label printing, flexible packaging, or commercial printing.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects from development through manufacturing and delivery.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn ERP, CRM, artwork, and manufacturing systems.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer projects from initial request through production and final delivery.
• Coordinate launches, new SKUs, transitions, artwork changes, material changes and other customer initiatives.
• Develop timelines, set priorities, track milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Serve as primary liaison between customer and internal/external teams.
• Coordinate artwork/prepress activities and customer sign-off.
• Coordinate with customer, vendor, supply chain, planning, production, quality, and customer service teams.
• Monitor orders, production schedules, inventory, and delivery commitments; identify delays or risks.
• Balance customer expectations with capabilities and lead times; manage rush requests.
• Work with Planning and Production on capacity, materials, tooling, scheduling, and delivery needs.
