Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. seeks a Plant Manager II to lead an aggregate production facility, driving operational excellence from pit development to final product load-out. You will manage a diverse workforce, champion safety, and align production with quality and financial goals.

The role requires 7+ years in aggregate operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. You will oversee CAPEX, schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize throughput and reliability.

Qualifications

• MSHA compliance and regulations.
• Knowledgeable of aggregate processing equipment and pit design.
• Knowledgeable of welding, repairs, and maintenance of mobile processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety regulations and foster a Zero Harm culture.
• Lead site operations including crushing, washing, and screening.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term mining plans.
• Manage plant budget, drive cost-per-ton reduction, and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with QC to ensure ASTM/DOT specifications.
• Plan major plant shutdowns and supervise production staff.
