Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Manager II to lead an aggregate production facility. You will drive operational excellence from pit development to final product load-out, overseeing a diverse workforce and ensuring safety, quality, and financial targets are met.

You will manage a multi-site operation, oversee CAPEX projects, and champion the Guardian Angel safety culture while coordinating with QA, Sales, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in aggregate operations and supervisory roles preferred.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Enforce MSHA, state and company safety regulations and lead by example toward Zero Harm.
• Oversee crushing, washing and screening operations and optimize plant flows for efficiency.
• Develop short- and long-term mining plans including stripping and pit development.
• Manage plant operating budget with focus on cost-per-ton reductions.
• Supervise and coach production supervisors and hourly staff; conduct annual reviews.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure ASTM/DOT specs and with Sales to match demand.
