Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, seeks a Plant Manager to oversee production facility activities, including start-up, SOP development, and maintenance of equipment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost controls while driving plant efficiencies and KPI-driven improvements.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, partner with QC, suppliers, and customers, and implement continuous improvement strategies to achieve high performance in a dynamic cement alternatives operation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience using metrics to drive results.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• OSHA and/or MSHA safety knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield startup activities, SOP development, staff training, and operations systems implementation.
• Direct shift production with focus on safety, quality, schedule adherence, efficiency, waste, maintenance and costs.
• Improve plant efficiencies by troubleshooting and optimizing processes; develop KPIs and visual metrics.
• Coordinate with QC to ensure product quality and conformance to specs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to meet production requirements and quality standards.
• Oversee preventive maintenance systems and timely repairs of equipment.
• Participate in hiring and annual performance evaluations of plant staff.
• Apply Six Sigma and lean practices to maintain organized operations and 5S standards.
• Create reporting formats to communicate results to plant teams.
