Job summary

Wausau Supply Company in Schofield, WI seeks a Plant Manager for its Diamond Kote manufacturing facility. You will lead manufacturing operations, safety, quality, and cost performance, aligning with financial targets and customer commitments.

The role emphasizes value stream mapping, standardization, and Lean initiatives across the network. Reports to the Director of Operations DK and requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven record of delivering improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, standard work, and structured problem solving.
• Proven track record of improving safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to manufacturing operations to meet financial targets and customer commitments.
• Lead daily, monthly, and annual production planning, execution, monitoring, and communication across Diamond Kote manufacturing location.
• Own and improve key operating metrics including safety, quality, OEE, throughput, lead time, and on-time delivery.
• Work with finance to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Standardize operating processes, KPI definitions, and best practices across locations.
• Drive a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability.
