Job summary

LSI Industries, Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager for its EMI Cranston, RI facility.

You will lead all day-to-day operations for a project-based metal and millwork plant with 120+ employees, owning safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance across fabrication, wood millwork, assembly, finishing, and shipping. The role requires technical credibility in metal fabrication or wood millwork, and the ability to convert drawings into executable shop plans while fostering a high-performance

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent senior plant leadership experience.
10+ years in progressive manufacturing leadership with 100+ employee facilities.
Experience with engineered-to-order/high-mixed production environments.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and tactical leadership for all plant operations including safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Plan and sequence production to meet backlogs and customer promises.
Translate drawings and specs into shop-ready instructions and travelers.
Promote a culture of safety and lead safety walks and incident investigations.
Develop supervisors and coaching for a 120+ multi-trade workforce.
Drive Lean manufacturing, 5S, PDCA, and process improvements.
