Qualifications

• Experience in production and plant management for a steel parts and assemblies company.
• At least ten years' experience including four in a supervisory role with budgets.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first culture across the plant.
• Improve efficiencies in quality control and on-time shipments.
• Oversee a production organization that keeps workers safe while controlling costs.
• Make decisions about operating and capital budgets (P&L).
• Lead production, supply chain, and facility maintenance teams.
• Improve plant profitability and develop quality and safety initiatives.
• Drive cost reductions through Lean practices and plant layout.
