You will drive safety, quality, and reliability across the site, while developing high-performing teams and coordinating maintenance and process improvements.

Requirements include a BS/BA in a relevant field, 10+ years in chemical manufacturing leadership, and proficiency with JDE-E1 ERP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field (advanced degree preferred).
• ERP systems proficiency, especially JDE-E1, and MS Office suite.
• Strong budget and capital project planning skills.
• 10+ years leadership in chemical manufacturing operations.
• Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM.
• Customer-service driven, improvement-minded, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production performance targets for the Torrington site by managing adhesive manufacturing from reactor operations through chemical mixing and process/filling.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across site functions in production, equipment manufacturing, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations and standards such as PSM, OSHA, ISO 9001.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Manage operational budgets and recommend capital investments to improve reliability and capacity.
• Maintain equipment reliability by overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Improve product quality by enforcing rigorous QC procedures and supporting root-cause investigations.
• Standardize work practices and KPIs to align all Torrington site departments.
