Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Plant Manager to lead CAP and Coral operations in a growing facility. You will oversee manufacturing, safety, quality and continuous improvement, uniting front-end teams and production supervisors to achieve strategic goals.

Candidate will drive automation, MES/ERP integration, and data-driven decisions to stabilize and scale operations while delivering on production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of managerial experience in manufacturing.
• Budgeting, quality assurance & equipment troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or comparable on-the-job experience.
• Exposure to plant optimization, automation, or digital transformation projects.
• Comfort managing capital projects for automation & equipment upgrades.
• Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making with KPI dashboards & OEE.
• Experience leading front-end teams in a custom/made-to-order environment.
• Experience in a shared-space facility model and cross-team communication.
• Drive to stabilize and scale a growing operation.

Responsibilities

• Full plant operations for CAP, spanning manufacturing, safety, quality & operational excellence.
• Lead front-end teams and production supervisors to build a winning culture and succession bench.
• Stabilize the newly retrofitted door production line and raise product standards.
• Deliver business objectives and production schedules across Coral door and OBE lines.
• Collaborate with Coral Glass plant leadership given shared staff and proximity.
• Drive plant optimization and automation initiatives with new tech and robotics.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce downtime, boost throughput and OEE.
• Manage capital projects from business case to implementation.
• Integrate MES/ERP systems, data analytics and real-time reporting into daily decisions.
• Foster innovation and mentorship to grow the team.
