As a Plant Manager, you will provide strategic leadership, resource management, and operational direction to ensure safety, customer service, quality, and cost-efficiency at the plant level while meeting production targets. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead and ensure the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors, adhering to corporate and legislative requirements.
• Champion safety performance improvements aligned with Brambles’ Zero Harm initiative and environmental regulations.
• Oversee equipment reliability with the maintenance team to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with CHEP procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols to maintain operational consistency.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to optimize plant performance in safety, quality, and cost control.
• Maintain site security, manage storage, stock levels, and movement of materials and equipment.
• Manage, develop, and lead plant staff, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through effective plant operations management.

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• P&L management experience.
• Results-oriented with a proven track record of success and stability.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong team training and motivation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Decisive decision-making abilities.
• Innovative thinking and problem-solving.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
