Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a 200+ person facility in a high-growth phase driven by Aero/Defense demand. The Plant Manager will have full responsibility for day-to-day operations across production, quality, engineering, and HR.

You will build a high-performing manufacturing organization, develop operational strategies, and drive Lean initiatives while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 12+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a regulated industry, with progressive plant leadership.
• Strong experience implementing Lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ability to develop and execute manufacturing business plans and strategies.
• Ability to develop, coach, and lead employees across all levels of a plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day plant operations to achieve business plan objectives across safety, quality, customer service, inventory, and production output.
• Develop and execute operational strategies and business plans covering production, operating costs, inventory, and resources.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing, benchmarking, and disciplined performance management.
• Build a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Develop plant talent at all levels through training, coaching, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Represent the organization with local business, government, and community stakeholders.
