Job summary

SNQPA-Staffing Network is seeking a Plant Manager in Mesa, AZ to direct daily facility operations, overseeing production, safety, quality, and budgeting. You will coordinate production schedules, manage P&L performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.

The role requires 7–10+ years in manufacturing with at least 5 years in leadership, a strong background in ERP systems (SAP), and certification in Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or TPM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related technical field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or departmental management role.
• Deep knowledge of plant operations and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Certified or experienced in Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or TPM.
• Excellent problem-solving, active floor presence, and cross-functional communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct manufacturing workflows to hit output targets safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Enforce OSHA guidelines, environmental rules, and internal safety programs on the shop floor.
• Build and manage the annual plant operating budget, control labor costs, and track P&L metrics.
• Ensure finished goods meet strict quality standards and lead root-cause analysis when defects occur.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or similar manufacturing excellence systems to minimize waste.
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate department managers, shift supervisors, and support staff.
