Job summary

Advantage Technical in the United States seeks a Plant Manager to lead a multi-shift manufacturing facility of approximately 150 employees, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial results.

You will drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives while managing budgets, cost control, and overall plant financial performance. Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to align priorities and capacity planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, business, or related field; equivalent experience.
  • Progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a plant operations environment.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and operational performance management.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all plant operations, including production, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Achieve production targets, on-time delivery, operational goals, and P&L objectives.
  • Monitor and improve plant performance using KPIs and metrics.
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote safety, quality, and compliance culture across the plant.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and overall financial performance.
  • Develop and mentor leadership teams; support workforce planning and succession.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing priorities and capacity planning.

Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and leadership development while ensuring customer commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all plant operations, including production, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and logistics
