Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr

Aegis Worldwide is collaborating with a prominent manufacturer in the automotive and RV industry, recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational efficiency. We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee and enhance manufacturing operations. This leadership role drives production efficiency, maintains high safety standards, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to ensure smooth and effective plant performance.

Direct-hire, full-time hours

Compensation: Competitive base salary + annual bonus

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily plant operations, ensuring production goals are achieved efficiently and within budget.
  • Lead and manage teams, including production supervisors, engineers, and plant personnel, to foster high performance and engagement.
  • Develop and oversee production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing downtime and waste.
  • Uphold safety and quality standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Track and analyze plant performance metrics, implementing improvements to boost efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other best practices.
  • Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to enhance equipment reliability and reduce operational downtime.
  • Manage inventory and materials effectively to prevent production delays.
  • Control plant budgets, optimizing labor, material, and overhead costs while identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Implement training programs to support employee development and reinforce workplace safety.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners to streamline material and resource flow.
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within the automotive/RV manufacturing sector.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for operational improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field (Required).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in plant or operations management within the automotive, RV, industrial equipment, or similar industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams and enhancing operational performance.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Track record of optimizing plant efficiency, reducing costs, and improving product quality.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of plant safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience in production scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, manufacturing software, and MS Office applications.
