Confidential Company is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a high-precision aerospace manufacturing facility. You will oversee operations, safety, quality, on-time delivery, and financial performance in a growth-driven environment.

The role requires 15+ years of plant management experience in regulated manufacturing, a mechanical/industrial engineering background, and deep knowledge of AS9100, lean manufacturing, and CNC processes. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus; U.S.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of plant management experience in a high-precision, regulated manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
• Deep familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems, lean manufacturing, and CNC machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to hit production schedules and customer shipping deadlines.
• Manage KPIs for safety, quality, on-time delivery, efficiency, and labor productivity.
• Partner with engineering and machining teams to optimize CNC workflows, tooling choices, and advanced manufacturing processes.
• Maintain strict adherence to aerospace standards including AS9100 and ISO9001.
• Ensure ITAR compliance and federal export control laws.
• Lead cross-functional managers across Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, EHS, and Supply Chain.

The Plant Manager will be a dynamic people leader who can lead this company through growth in a high-precision, aerospace manufacturing environment. Reporting to a group executive, this leader will drive development, safety, quality, on-time delivery, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production Management

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to hit production schedules and customer shipping deadlines.
• Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, on-time delivery (OTD), efficiency, and labor productivity.
• Partner with engineering and machining teams to optimize CNC workflows, tooling choices, and advanced manufacturing processes.

Quality & Regulatory Compliance

• Maintain strict adherence to aerospace standards, including AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications.
• Ensure strict compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and federal export control laws.
• Foster a zero-defect culture through rigorous root cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) systems.

Financial & Budgetary Control

• Manage the site-level Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, operational budgets, and capital expenditure planning.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies and lean manufacturing principles without compromising quality or safety.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead cross-functional departmental managers, including Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), and Supply Chain.
• Mentor staff and build operational discipline across all shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 15+ years of plant management experience in a high-precision, regulated manufacturing environment, aerospace experience required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
